I quit retailjob.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tuesday was my last day and while I was sad to say goodbye to Dana and Carmella they will be around for a bit longer and it was a good job while it lasted but I am DONE and I DO NOT WORK THERE ANYMORE and I am 100% happy to just be a customer now wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I still work at sbux.

I love it. It is awesome. I mean, now I don't have retailjob to HATE HATE HATE so I am liking sbux a little bit less, but I still love my customers and coworkers, even though all the cool kids keep quitting. I've got probably at least another 6 months in me at that store, and heaven knows if I'll ever be able to move out and transfer. At the moment I am just concentrating on surviving full time school for awhile and saving money.

I start school tomorrow.

I am taking The English Novel, Medieval European history & Renaissance Literature. I am excited to learn things and Be In School, I am not excited to read my nine textbooks and do homework and write papers and also run the fuck across campus twice a day. Sigh.

I am ~~internet~~long-distance dating this really cool guy named Damien.

The distance totally sucks but he is awesome. Hee. When did this happen? Sometime in the last month. It is new and exciting and fun. Yeah. :)

I was invited to Portland Fashion Week as a photographer next week.

I really feel like every one of my list items should be followed by a gazillion exclamation points (and hearts, in the case of the previous point) but really now, this is incredibly exciting. It's because I Know Someone, as it were, and it's a huge opportunity, if anything for blogging and photography and awesome things, and I want to go, but need to figure out when it would be, and if I'm working or in school, and if I could get those days off. Sadly, I do not have my work schedule written down at the moment and don't work for the next 3 days. Dang. So I have to work that out like, tomorrow.

I (hopefully) get to see Mary this weekend.

Woo! I haven't seen the girl since January. I am totes excited.

lol, I love netspeak, you know it, darling. Uhhhh no nobody you know has quit yet, though not for lack of talking about it. GEEZ. But seriously there's been so much change here it's insane. Not a whole lot of fun things are going on (seriously I actually just had a bad thing with my manager that I am still recovering from/attempting to deal with eetc) so work is like, ooookay. I dunno. I don't Love It as much as I used to, but I still love it.

DAMIEN IS AWESOME. DO YOU REALLY NEED TO KNOW ANYTHING MORE?! He's cute and fun and snarky and smart and he makes me so damnedhappy I barely know what to do with myself. eheheee.

Schoooool is okay. I love and hate it. I am immersed in reading and getting irritated with learning about roman emporers (and I just finished Lolita OH GOSH) so I don't know, it's good. I have an (ugly) scottish professor who is a hoot and also a very fabulous Neil-patrick-harrisy professor who has nice sideburns, so that is fun. :3 I'm at sbux about... 20 hours a week still. Might try to cut it back, but I need the money. SIGH.

Portland Fashion week didn't end up coming together. :( at least, at this point it doesn't look like I"ll be going, but still, it would have been fun!!! :D
